Meet the Artist- Danièle Wilmouth
About the Series
Dance Films Association’s 2013 Meet the Artist series features Danièle Wilmouth, who will present selections from her eclectic body of screendance work from the past sixteen years, including her early Japanese Butoh inspired films, to her recent collaborations with musicians and performance artists. The evening will highlight a detailed account of the process for making her latest film FANFARE for MARCHING BAND (featured in DFA’s Dance on Camera Festival in 2012, co-presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and Dance Films Association).
