Brokn Bridge

This bicycle vision of the Brooklyn Bridge, made from cyanotypes of original photographs was captured by Cameron on her bike helmet as she crossed the bridge, a journey inspired by her mentor Clarke’s film “Bridges Go Round”. “Brokn Bridge”‘s frameless shots are a hallmark of cinematic paper emulsion, a process which Cameron developed in the 1970s and patented in 2001. Motion fractals of the Brooklyn Bridge, which is emblematic of New York City, echo human crossings of water by swimming, rowing and flying. Music by Mark Stewart. David Cossin, percussion.
