Dance Film Lab is an informal work-in-progress screening centered on discussion and on March 12th, it will be moderated by filmmaker Greg Vander Veer. DFL sessions offer a fun and creative space to gather and share information on methods and tools, and address technical, practical, and artistic challenges, while providing artists with process-related feedback.
Attend the Lab:
The screening will feature films chosen from submissions in various stages of production. Take this opportunity to connect with artists and audiences.

Submit Your Work:

Interested artists may submit their project via the Dance Film Lab submissions page.

A few things to consider when submitting your work:
  • Dance Film Lab welcomes everyone from seasoned filmmakers to those beginning to work in the medium.
  • Entrants whose films are chosen, must be able to attend the upcoming Lab on March 12.
  • Submissions may be from film projects of any length and in any stage of production. Due to time constraints during the Lab, up to 15 minutes of a project can be screened. We ask that you make note of excerpt(s) of your work.
  • Our programmers will ask for HD files of your film (ProRes, h264 preferred), and film stills.
  • It is FREE to submit your work to be considered for this Lab
