ChoreoCollective Workshops for Teens: Dance Films and Abrons Arts Center

Kash Gaines from YAK films   ChoreoCollective Full Workshop: March 5 – May 21 Saturdays | 2 – 3:30 PM Ages 14 – 18 | 10 Sessions | $350 | Register Dance Films Association and Abrons Arts Center are partnering to offer guest workshops that provide ChoreoCollective students with the opportunity to merge film techniques with choreographic techniques and make their own dance films. This is part of Dance Films Association’s high school student film program Capturing Motion NYC. Registration is still open for the full series of workshops, including the sessions on April 9, 16, and 23, that focus on dance and film! Kash Gaines of YAK Films will facilitate these workshops April 9 and 16 with a screening of the dance films on April 23.   About ChoreoCollective ChoreoCollective is a special opportunity for teen dancers to focus on developing choreography. This spring, students will focus on Hip Hop and Break Dance technique with special guest artists and field trips to see performances. Students will work collaboratively to build their own dances over the course of the semester.
