IFP (Independent Filmmaker Project) seeks applications for their Project Forum – a ‘meetings-driven forum connecting artists who have new narrative and documentary projects in development, production, or post-production with key industry executives interested in identifying projects with which to become involved at the development, financing, or distribution stages.’ Learn more about the different programs and apply by 5/23: 
AT&T seeks indie and student filmmakers for their Entertainment Project, an open challenge for imaginative, undiscovered short films from talented storytellers across the U.S. Submissions due by 5/26: 
Filmmakers ages 15-24 can apply for the New Voices Filmmaker Grant, presented by NewFest and American Eagle Outfitters!  Submit short films, either narrative or documentary, that feature LGBTQ-themes and/or protagonists by 5/31: 
Applications are due 6/1 for New Dance Alliance‘s LiftOff Creative and Project Development Residency:  
Exploring the Metropolis has a 6/1 deadline for their Choreographer + Composer Residencies in partnership with the Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning (JCAL). ‘This residency will provide four choreographer/composer teams (8 artists total) with use of consistent, suitable rehearsal space over a three-month period starting in October 2017 or January 2018 to develop and create new work. Each choreographer and each composer will receive a stipend of $1,500. There is no requirement to complete a piece of work during the residency. Each choreographer/composer team is required to perform one free public program in coordination with the Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning.’

Apply for High Concept Labs’ Sponsored Artists Program by 11:59PM EST on 6/15.  The program “is designed to promote the growth of artists and their work through the donation of customizable, no-cost support services” such as rehearsal and performance spaces, administrative and production assistance, outreach, documentation, networking opportunities, and much more! 

NYC students ages 14-21 can apply for DCTV’s 2017 Summer Media Fellowship. This four-week program in July 2017 offers students a chance to learn about ‘collaborative filmmaking and media arts, media literacy, video production and editing, and story telling through digital video production. Participating students create narrative, documentary, or experimental short films and develop web content.’ Deadline 6/15: 

Apply by 7/10 for PearlArts Studios’ PearlDiving Movement Residency, which ‘supports professional movement artists making dance-based multimedia work by providing rehearsal space, technical support, mentorship, and a stipend during a month-long residency to be completed in October 2017. The dual-track program serves both local and visiting artists and offers time in an environment where research, play, and risk-taking are encouraged in order to create and present new work.’
