Apply for the Valentine and Clark Emerging Artist Fellowship or the Sally Burns Shenkman Women Filmmaker Fellowship at the Jacob Burns Film Center by 1/15! ‘The SPRING 2017 Fellows will be in residence at the Jacob Burns Film Center for sixteen weeks, and will be awarded a $4,000 honorarium. The Fellows are provided with a dedicated work space, tuition-free enrollment in Media Arts Lab classes, and access to Lab resources, including use of the recording studio, sound stage, and state-of-the-art filmmaking equipment. The Fellows are expected to serve as Teaching Assistants for JBFC education programs, and will assist with school partnerships and outreach initiatives as needed. The required time commitment to the program, including teaching time, is an average of 25 hours per week.
