Dance Films Association is delighted to honor

Lois Greenfield

with a 2015 Dance In Focus award

at the Dance on Camera Festival Kickoff Gala

on Wednesday January 28th

Portfolio LetterLois Greenfield is the creator of thousands of iconic dance photographs, many of which are indelibly etched in our memories. She has been collaborating with dancers and dance companies, making them immortal, for the past 40 years. As a highlight of the 43rd annual Dance on Camera Festival, it’s time for us to come out en masse to honor the woman who stops time!! Join us as we open the 2015 Festival with a Kickoff Gala at the Bow Tie Cinemas on Wednesday January 28th. Along with the presentation of the Dance in Focus Award, we’ll screen the short film produced for the Michelle Obama Let’s Move! campaign which shows Lois in action as both a teaching photographer and as guest artist at NYU. A slideshow featuring some of her most iconic images will introduce the evening. As part of the gala festivities, we are proud to present a sneak preview of our new dance film profiling the work of Third Rail Projects and produced by DFA with funding from the Rockefeller Foundation. Details of the Kickoff party will be coming soon – but please mark your calendars now for January 28th, 2 days before the Dance on Camera Festival which runs for 5 days from January 30 to February 3. Buy an ad in our Dance on Camera program as a perfect way to celebrate Lois’s photography. We encourage you to design an ad featuring a Lois Greenfield photograph – if you can manage to choose just one! – which will help create an extraordinary gallery and keepsake to be shared with the 3,000+ attendees of the Dance on Camera Festival. Ad pricing is two-tiered, with corporate and non-profit rates, ranging from $100 to $800. For ad rates, specifications, and to purchase an ad please CLICK HERE. The deadline for final copy is December 19th. If you have questions, please contact: Galen Bremer at galen@dancefilms.org

We eagerly anticipate our 3rd annual Dance in Focus award celebrating an artist who has changed how we see dance!
