Become a MEMBER and MOVE with us!

FILMS THAT MOVE! On the heels of a successful series at Stuyvesant Cove Park for the Solar Powered Film Series: Films That Move, here’s a quick recap of the past year’s growth. In January, DFA broke Dance on Camera Festival box office records at our 40th annual event with the Film Society of Lincoln Center. DFA has made appearances at festivals from Amsterdam to Austin; Helsinki to Havana; and our High School Student Film Festival winner represented DFA at Dance Camera West in Los Angeles. Today we are rolling out year long programming as a part of our newly launched Films That Move initiative.

MOVE WITH US! DFA is committed to sharing resources with our growing community. DFA members receive a wealth of benefits including Post-Production grants, an expanded Dance Film Lab series, and discounted year round screening and workshop events, including the annual Dance on Camera Festival, to name a few. If you’re a dedicated fan of dance, film, or dance film, we want you on our team. Whether you’re a filmmaker or a choreographer, teach at a university, or present dance film, your contribution is vital to our community. Join us at any level: as a student, individual, or organization. MAKE A MOVE!
