New York Women In Film & Television’s screening series celebrating NYWIFT members, is coming right up: June 28 at Anthology Film Archives, NYC. Included in the program of shorts under 20 minutes – “Where Less is More” – is
I am I: A Tribute to Margaret Cho, directed by DFA member Elena TaJo.
The Vilcek Foundation will award a prize of $25,000 to a foreign-born dancer, choreographer, artistic director, or professional teacher (and former dancer) who has demonstrated outstanding early achievement in the field of dance. This is the third year the Foundation is awarding its Creative Promise prizes, to biomedical scientists and artists in earlier stages in their careers. Deadline August 14th.
