Tonight marks the opening of the 10th anniversary of the Dance Camera West Dance Media Film Festival. We wish them well – in fact we wish we could be there! The Co(te)lette Film, directed by Mike Figgis,has its US Premiere at DCW on Saturday. Spend some watching the interview below with Figgis and choreographer Ann Van den Broek and imagine you’re at the Q & A after – at least in spirit!
And don’t forget that DFA’s 40th – that’s right, 40th! – anniversary festival is coming up next year: Dance on Camera Festival 2012, co-produced by the Film Society of Lincoln Center, presenting 10 programs January 27-31, with 4 shows daily, at the Walter Reade Theatre, Lincoln Center Plaza, New York.
