Below is a clip from Devdas, an epic Bollywood melodrama based on a beloved Hindi novel, which has won many awards – and admirers worldwide – since 2002. The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and stars Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, and Aishwarya Rai in the leading roles. Devdas is being screened – along with other dance-filled features such as Cabaret, La Danseand Bodas de Sangre – as part of the 4th edition of LOIKKA Dance Film Festival in Helsinki, Finland March 24-27. The rest of the LOIKA line-up is a great mix of new shorts and those that have stood the test of time.
