Never Stand Still

Narrated by Tony Award winner Bill T. Jones, this documentary features performances,  conversations with choreographers and dancers, and rare archival footage, while telling the remarkable story of how an abandoned farm in Massachusetts evolved into a Jacobs Pillow, a premiere showcase for dance, revered around the world. The illustrious interviewees, who include Judith Jamison, Paul Taylor, Mark Morris, Suzanne Farrell, and Frederic Franklin, as well as Merce Cunningham, all sing their praises of this important presenter and educator, Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival, founded by the pioneer Ted Shawn in 1932.
