Terry Sprague, PhD, is an associate faculty member at California State University, San Marcos and Mira Costa College in the Departments of Film and Dance. Her doctoral dissertation, Ambiguous Bodies: Representations of Female Identity in Contemporary Screendance focused on screendance artists who are challenging the norm in inventive ways. After a lively career in dance as a choreographer, performer and teacher, Sprague is adding screendance-maker to the mix. She lives three blocks from the Pacific Ocean in Encinitas, California.

Ally Voye began her dance training in Salt Lake City at the Life Arts Center. She graduated from the World Arts and Cultures department at UCLA where she studied and performed with Maria Gillespie and Victoria Marks, among others. Her choreography and film work has been presented at the Freud Playhouse, American College Dance Festival, Jacob’s Pillow, Highways Performance Space, Anatomy Riot, UCLA’s Fowler Museum, UCLA’s Hothouse Choreography Residency, Pasadena Dance Festival, The Ford Amphitheater, Victoria Reel Dance Film Festival, Kinetic Cinema – NYC, University of Utah’s Dance for the Camera Festival, UMOVE Online Videodance Festival Looking Left, Santa Cruz, and the American Dance Festival Video Dance Festival. Ally is co-founder and co-artistic director of IN/EX Dance Project, a Los Angeles-based collaborative dance company dedicated to the creation of unconventional performances (www.inexdanceproject.com). In addition producing, performing and choreographing locally, Ally teaches dance at the Growing Place, First Pres Nursery School and the Crossroads School.
Alise Anderson is a new DFA member who is currently attending film school at Berkeley Digital Film Institute. She studied modern dance at Utah Valley University and has attended many dance film workshops. Alise recently completed a dance film piece that she has entered into multiple festivals. http://vimeo.com/27979639
