Thanks to all for coming

to the Annual Members Meeting. It was a very convivial gathering, which included recent post-production grant awardees, long-time and brand new members, as well as representatives from one of our fiscally-sponsored projects – and, of course, the Board of DFA .  Revised Bylaws were passed, available online for viewing.  But more important, members had a chance to chat and brainstorm a bit – about the proposed Members Directory on the new website; about the difficulty of distribution and monetization of filmmakers’ work; about rejection and “riff raff”.  Plans are afoot to have screenings and conversations more often in the coming year.  And look for a chance to continue the conversation here…
